  My younger cousin and my friends son both had to do the on-line high school. Yes there are various online schools, I'm sure there is one for your state as well. Some of them do have fees and some don't, I believe it depends on your parents income. You are provided with a laptop and scanner in most cases. Yes you do graduate with an official high school diploma and full credit for you state. In many cases there is even a graduation ceremony held in you state capital. You are timed I believe you have 5 hours to complete your work and your hours are set. If you log in at 9am that's the your log in time for the rest of your school year. I'm sure how testing works I'm sure each school is different. As far as interaction with others you have your designated teacher that you either call or email your questions to. I'm in Ohio so there may be some differences in protocol from state to state. Personally if you are a normal student with friends and don't have any sort of troubled or illegal past then you should just go to your current high school. There really isn't any secret advantages to you completing your schooling on line. My friends son misses going to school and hates that he has to be home schooled do to him doing something illegal.
