What is the cost of using the Google Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks API?

  Use of most of our APIs are at no cost to you. You found http://developers.google.com/maps/pricing-and-plans which provides a free tier where you can pay for additional usage beyond that tier, however most APIs do not have such a thing. (The http://cloud.google.com/pricing is more of a “utility service,” providing a suite of products that you use on a pay-as-you-go basis or other billed usage.) The key thing is that if your API usage is “reasonable,” you won’t be paying anything. While provided at no cost, some APIs have limits to prevent abuse.
