It really depends on which area you live in. In my area they charge around 125.00 per child. But you can always call the YMCA and ask those questions, you can also ask them how many daycares are in your area and stuff like that. In southern california a small license can have 6 children up to 8. and a large lic. has around 10 to 14 max. Well what i experience is that most parents will come to see your daycare and they would want you to have a lot of toys and thins like that. your house will have to be loving and inviting.
