The first days of school, I ask simple questions. The ones who fidget and squirm and vocally say "boring' are the TV kids. Traditional lessons fail to entertain, as I don't pop up into some dance and song every 5 minutes like kids TV shows. They claim to be bored at school, but educational games like the Hokey Pokey or are 'baby games' and the child refuses to participate. Eventually, the lack of participation in class leads to a child that lags in skills. Kids might not develop a bond with the child, and the child starts getting left out more. This leads to acting out in class or anti-social negative behaviors.
