How do you make your avatar full size?

How do I make a Yahoo avatar show up full-size (head to toe, background) in YA?

  • I know it can be done. I've seen someone do it before.

    I tried changing my avatar last night to one that's worked before; something's wrong with 360 or Yahoo in general.

I think once you set up your avatar, you can save it to your computer, but it will be a .gif file?? if that's how it works, all you need to do is import it to paint and convert it to a .jpg file and then load it into your 360. EDIT:: hee hee... now I want to try it EDIT: not that's not working, maybe someone else might have a better clue than me LOL

Tried lonely1's instructions. Worked great right up until I tried to tell Y!A to use my 360 avatar. It seems to think that I don't have a 360 avatar at all, so my avatar becomes blank when try to use it here. I think something must indeed be messed up with the site.
