Any ideas for a "fix it" activity for kindergarten?

As far as "fix it" activities go I am drawing a blank but something my K2 students LOVE is "make your own.." activities. For instance, I recently bought a bunch of little boxes and I put out bandaids and cotton balls and things like that and they put together their own first aid kits. Things like that are fun for them because that feel like they are in control. Good luck!

Great idea! I would say a toaster, but that would be to hard. :-) How about stacking sets like they use in Montessori schools. Or a game where they have to match the lids with the correct size containers within a certain time limit. Healthy competition. Another one is to figure out how to make a box (like a moving box) together given a certain grouping of materials that may or maynot do the job. Example, tape, staples, magnets, string. Good for journaling, cooperative learning, decision making and compare and contrasting.
