Is there a difference between a value meal and an extra value meal at mcdonalds?

i got a free extra value meal and ive never had one before so yea. its a mcchicken extra value meal, and whats all in it anyways?

The Dollar menu is the value meal. You can get fries (small), a drink (small), and a burger off the dollar menu for around $3-$4. However if you get the extra value meal then you get the burger, the med fries, and a med drink or a burger and a large fry and a large drink. Your extra value meal would be a McChicken sandwich, a med fry and a med drink. I worked at McDonald's for almost a year.
