Daysave tickets must be bought 7 days in advance. However you can buy cheaper advance purchase singles (Victoria to Brighton and Brighton to Victoria) up to the day before travel. These are priced from £5 upwards and are issued for specifically timed trains. They are not available via the Trainline. Go to the ticket office at Victoria Station or www.southernrailway.com If you buy them on the internet you will need your booking reference number and the same credit card you used on line to collect them from the station
