How many miles does the Suzuki XL 7 last for?

  $400 - $500 depend on where your going to get the job done. I would recommend not getting it done at the dealer since 50,000 miles is nothing for a Suzuki. From owning a 2001 XL-7, I've only done minor things like changing air filter and spark plug at 50,000 mile. Left the rubber belts and transmission fluid exchange at 75,000 mile. I'm not sure of the 2008 spec. but 2001 has a timing chain so nothing to be done on the engine itself other than a good spark plugs and oil change. One thing I'd like to point out with spark plugs, do not spend your money on really expensive quad tip platinum, these are probably not worth the money you put in. Instead just get regular plugs or even mid priced like double tip plugs will work just fine. The reason I'm saying this is that I put in a quad tip plugs and one of them died few days later, I ended up spending $300 dismantling the whole engine trying to find out what was the cause of the misfire and it turned out to be a bad plug. The plug in question was a bosch quad platinum.
