The check engine light means that DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) are stored in your computer. If it is serious enough to stall the engine - it sounds pretty SERIOUS! You shouldnt drive the car anymore like that unless you have a repair shop really close. The ckeck engine light may mean that any one of 50 or more failure codes might be stored in the computer. The only way to know what is causing it is connect a scan tool and see what comes out. Is your car covered by a 5 year or 100,000 mile warranty? If so - have it towed to the Suzuki dealer and have them fix it.
