What's the difference between Contacts and Fans?

    contacts you add and fans add you let me give you an example: p1 adds p2 in as a contact p2 also adds p1 as a contact now they can go review each other questions and answers, or starred questions some people like to add a contact after they have requested them

You are a fan to your contact and you are a contact to your fan. If you add me as contact, I would appear in your list as "contact" but you would appear in my list as "fan"...but if I add you, then you would appear in my list as contact and I would appear in your list under fan (since I'm the one who added you). But don't worry about it. :)
