  So, years after you bought the car you started having a few issues with breakdowns and bad oil/coolant, then your brother damaged the engine and the battery died. Then you let it sit for a few years (probably without draining the fuel or disconnecting the battery) and take it out after a jump-start thinking that the battery will still hold a charge. Then you learn to drive a manual transmission on the car and after stalling it numerous times until you get the hang of it, you think it's the car's fault you wore out your clutch cable and plate? It sounds to me like that poor Saab endured a lifetime of hell from a family that has no clue how to care for or operate a motor vehicle. If you want to blame someone, blame your father. It sounds like he has no clue how to properly service a motor vehicle and has passed on his ignorance to you. You probably have pets that ran away.
