My car is a Vauxhall Vectra Club, 2001. It has failed the MOT on the Airbag light. Can i purchase 2 Airbags?

    If you didn't have a crash that activated the airbags, you will need to find out why the light is on. Most cars have air bags in the steering wheel and the dash, and some also have side air bags.

Hi Andy as usual you have 5 useless answers. ask the vauxhall dealer to do a diagnostic check on the body computer as it has the air bag sensors as part of it's make up so it could be a simple case of changing a sensor so a lot cheaper than any air bag issue. they do sit in the front behind the front bumper where they would be crushed setting off the air bags. so a diagnostic check will reveal which sensor is faulty.

Take the car to a garage and get them to reset the airbag light.. No need to spends ££££ on what you don't need.. If you haven't had a crash

No offence but do you really want to be screwing around with what are to all intents exploding devices, BOMBS! for the slow of thinking!!! When I remove these things I'm meant to store them in an explosive safe cabinet.not safe things to play with!!! Just go to a garage that has good diagnostic equipment,not Ebay crap,and have the Air bag system for faults and work from there
