    Look in your hand book from memory i think it says 1litre of oil per 1000 km is acceptable on a relatively new car.The v6 does tend to use more oil than the 4 cyl versions.You need to do a control check set trip to zero with the oil topped up to the correct height on the dip stick vech on level ground and run the vech for 500 miles then recheck as above noting how much oil you had to put in Regards Mick UK.
