It's a Ford Explorer in disguise, has a few extra enhancements. They ride nice, good power and the motors are known to last a very long time, with regular maintenance of course. as for the transmission, yes they aren't the most positive thing in the Explorers, however, if you have the transmission fluid changed and flushed regularly, like every 2 years you really shouldn't have any problems.
