What kind of food is eaten in Spain on Christmas day?
-
I have to do a paper about what kind of food is eaten in Spain on Christmas for my Spanish class.
-
Answer:
It is the day for a big family feast. Turrones (Jijona, Alicante and lots of variations), polvorones, dates, marzipan, sugared almonds, cakes and lots of other sweet things. They also eat roast suckling pig, sea bream, game, stews, lots of seafood. Cold cuts - jamón, chorizo etc., Cava and wine. Turkey is becoming more popular. Now, Google "Navidad en España", comida navideña" etc. on Google Spain: and you will find more such as : http://www.navidadlatina.com/espana/
