What is Costa Adeje in Tenerife like?

    It can be quite hot in August, last year it reached around 40ºC in August but I'm quite sure you're accommodadtion will have air conditioning so you should be okay! In August you're pretty much guaranteed sunshine. Costa Adeje is the newest part of Playa de las Americas, it was renamed to give it a more upmarket feel. Most of the hotels and apartments in that area and four and five star so it's a lovely area to stay with lovely beaches. La Palma and Lanzarote can be cooler, cloudier and windy. La Palma is very green with it's own rainforest so attracts more rain and Lanzarote is very windy as is Fuerteventura. Anyway, you'll definitely have sun when you come over, just don't forget the suntan cream! Enjoy your holiday!
