The pink probably comes from the blood. Your skin is a little bit see through, so some of the red escapes through it, but becomes pink in the process. That is also the reason why pigs are pink, and not white.

Hey, im actually 50% irish and i have the same problem lmao. Though on my arm there tan, and same with my legs. But its actually because of your veins. Also pressure being put on the blood within your hands. If u tense ur hand u see it becomes white but when released it becomes pink again. Some places may look like spots. Dont worry about it. And yes other races can have this. Not sure about dark skinned people.

Hard to say without actually seeing you. It's definitely not the mediterranean blood in you. I'm Italian and don't have that. It sounds more like the English, Scottish, or Irish in you. That's just a guess though.
