How can I get around my school's firewall?

This worked for me in highschool... Open your command prompt. (Windows key + R) on pc then type cmd hit enter type: ping www.myspace.com then hit enter. The command should come back with a bunch of numbers like 169.14.12....and so on. type those numbers into your address bar off your internet. See if that works.

kuhlguy22, erm some website block ICMP ping packets so that just may not work.. (yahoo used to be able to ping) and 1 more thing, if you have a firewall sitting on your machine, the returning packets will not be able to re-enter your machine All these are to mitigate Ping-of-Death attacks, and of cos, improve security
