I take 200 mcg of levothyroxine a day...a pretty high dosage. These feelings you are having are not side effects of this hormone. The side effects of levothyroxine are: Serious side effects: allergic reaction (difficulty breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of lips, tongue, or face, hives), voimiting, chest pain, irregular heartbeat. Less serious side effects: tremors, nervousness or irritability, headache, insomnia, diarrhea, change in appetite or weight loss, leg cramps, menstrual irregularities, fever, sweating, or heat sensitivity. So, yes, tremors is one of the side effects. It does not state euphoria but other side effects other than those listed may occur with this medication.
