I'm a guy and How can i make my hair lay down/stay flat?

Ok not sure if you ever heard of a wave cap those things are sweet they are usually used by african americans but are great for keeping hair down you wear it for a little when in the house and when going out take it off and your hair would be flat or you can sleep with it and take it off in the morning my brother uses them http://kashmir-distributors.com/images/White-Stocking-Wave-Cap.gif

I recommend you get it permanently straightened. (It's commonly known as "Japanese Hair Straightening System"). The perm won't go away until your hair grows out, so you won't have to worry about it washing off. Most hair salons do it, and if straight hair is what you want, you'll get it :)

Question is have you had a sure? If so and it has grown out this is one reason why it is sticking up. The best way to get it to lay down, go to your stylist and ask them if they have any chopper scissors what they are is like a thinning scissor but the teeth are further apart. It will take out allot of the thickness,needs to cut at an angel not straight across, will make it lay down. A really good product to get if by a company named Roffler, I carry this product in my shop. The one that you need is called Fixative Creme. You can get online and find a dealer near you. This stuff is awesome!! It will hold the hair in place and smells like a man should smell. No sticky or glue feeling, no flaking just comb right through it. Good luck

i have the same thing and yes it sucks. try gillete's new thick hair shampoo. or wear a cap for a long time often (that helped me) when your hair is like that. also, only wash your hair every other day or so (but still take a shower), that way, your hair produces natural (but still clean) oils for your hair (but dont over do it) thatll make it go down. and this is problaby the best way w/out using any other chemicals.

Try mousse. IT doesn't grease up hair as far as i know, but once you get it all in your hair make sure that you comb it exactly how you want it, because once the mousse dries the hair will stay like that for the day.

a hair straightener and anti-friz spray pantene smooth shampoo and conditioner works for meee :] get a GVP straightener. they work really well and are only $60. don't get a conaire or a cheap 20$ one. they dont work and they fry your hair and make it frizzy. trust meee <3

You could try using just a tiny little bit of conditioner AFTER the shower - wash and dry your hair like normal. Put a dime-sized blob of conditioner in your hands and rub it around, and then smooth it onto your hair. Don't rinse. It might work out for you. If it gets greasy looking, use a bit of water with the conditioner to thin it out.
