Any good plays to read that are relatively easy?

Good plays to read???

  • I love acting and want to try and read as many good plays as I can. Can anyone make any suggestions for good plays? Thanks :)

  • Answer:

That depends. If you'd prefer a comedy, try Neil Simon or Christopher Durang, they're both great playwrights. I personally like Laughter on the 23rd Floor by Neil Simon, but anything by either of them is good. In terms of more dramatic stuff, maybe Red by John Logan, anything by Arthur Miller or Eugene O'Neill. Yasmina Reza is also really good, she has kind of a mix of genres and stuff with God of Carnage and Art. Also, I'm not too familiar with it, but I've heard that there is a modern play version of Frankenstein which is supposed to be awesome.
