How do I become an actress; where do I exactly start?

You dont exactly need an agent but what you will need is a good headshot and resume. Your head shot is the first impression a casting director will have of you and their reference for their consideration process. Your headshot must be current and a true reflection of how you look. It has to reflect how you would look if you walked into their office to meet them and act as the blank canvas on which they will paint the character whose role you would play. okay so first of all, you need to perfect your acting skills. so join theater to improve them. then when you have had some lead roles, you need to make yourself a resume with all your acting experiences. then, you need to find an agency near you that is in your price range and fill out their application. have several headshots and full body pictures and send the application, the resume, and the photographs, all to the address they give you. if you don't hear back from them for a substantial amount of time, join another play, get new photographs, and reply.
