I think your biggest mistake is trying to achieve something before a certain age. You'll become resentful if you don't make it by age 20. Focus on being good at acting. You'll have more success.

Hi, I use to wonder the same thing, then I got hooked up with an acting agent who finds me auditions to go to. Recently I got an audition request for a lead role on days of our lives. All you'll need is some good headshots of yourself and then google some acting agencies in your area and see if you can get an interview with one of them. Hope this helps
