one has to be filming near where you live. And your parents have to take you to the auditionsl Stay off the internet and remember that extra work is not the same as acting.

I have always just watched the classified adverts in the major local papers. I was in the first 2 Pirates of the Caribbean movies when I saw the notice for extras on a bulletin board at my marina, so I sailed up to the Bahamas and applied. I was in several movies when I lived in Florida and about 10 movies when I lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico... and all I did was just watch the local classifieds for extras. You DO KNOW that extras DON'T TALK and they DON'T GET CREDITS and about the only pay is is a cold hot dog and a warm coke... and that is if you are LUCKY.
Try looking in newspapers and on the internet :) that might help!
