What do you do acting auditions ?

Hey there! First of all, it depends on what the people want from you. I went to an audition a few weeks ago and all they wanted to know was what type of accent i had so we sat down and just acted/read out a script. The most common auditions is to simply act out the character you are aiming to get a part as. Some Auditions may include workshops where they try to identify what acting skills you have e.g. confidence, varying emotions and how you react to an environment. Some require you to prepare a speech. Other Auditions may want you to just show your physique in order to get the right type of look for a character. Others may be looking for a singing part therefore, looking for good singers, dancing is similar too. I'm not sure about any public auditions websites but you can get a local paper showing varying auditions in many areas. If you want to get into this business my best bet is to join a drama school [locally if possible] that offers you to join an agency, therefore you get lessons to improve your skills and get parts or chances to go on a t.v. show. Movies are tougher to get into but still possible. Kind Regards

first go take an acting workshop then go 2 some auditions youll need a headshot and a resume @ the audition they will ask you for you to slate,then you will have to say a monolouge or diolouge in front of the camara they migth ask you for profiles but depends what your auditioning for good luck um talenthunter.com is a good site and also try to go on google and look for agencys where they hold open auditions an open audition is when you go to auditons but dont need an agent hope this helps goodluck

Read the script, and if you can, think of ways you could act it out, try and be as original as you can, and just hope that they like you. Be polite and friendly. If you can, shake their hand on the way out.

you act!! UM It really depends on where to live to what you can do. I live in Kempston, near Bedford in england and I can't seem to find anything. btw i have no idea if your outside of the uk

Not sure. But I do know that if you go to an audition you have to read a script. :)
