Answer:
The diaphragm is a large muscle between your abdomen and your lungs. Singers and musicians use this muscle to control breathing while performing. The best way to feel the muscle in action is to place your hand on you stomach and; as you exhale, push your hand away with your abdominal muscles. You can even push back with your hand to really get the idea of the control this muscle can have. Now, sing a smooth, steady tone as you do this. While pushing with the diaphragm and your hand you can see hoe this technique strengthen you voice while not being harsh on your vocal cords. When you sing or speak, focus on the producing the sounds/tones from the diaphragmatic area and not your throat. Good luck!

Put your hand on your stomach and say very loudly "HUH, HUH, HUH, HUH, HUH...". You should feel, and eventually see, your lower stomach moving, but your shoulders should be still. Try to concentrate and pretend you are talking to someone or something far across the room. Hope this helps!

Wow... I can't remember how to speak or sing with my nose actually :D Hold your nose shut and try to speak without sounding like a drunken trumbone. Take a very deep breath and try to envision your breath bouncing off of the top of your throat and out your mouth as you let it out in a loud AHH. There are thousands more suggestions, but most of the ones I know are on here already :D

start by breathing from you nose. when you inhale air push it to you stomach! do not breath from you chest (If you see you chest moving up and down as you inhale and exhale you are doing it wrong!) make sure you stomach is moving up and down.

It seems you don't enjoy singing because of that, this problem occurs. I am not a singer but whenever I am busy in washing clothes or cleaning utensils i used to sing along with the music I am playing and sing about five to ten songs but I never face such problem because I get lost in the song and I sing beautifully. Though Indian Raga (Classical songs) are very difficult and only the learned ones can sing it properly but i enjoy it. But I have noticed that when I am not enjoying the music and simply try to show my expertise then this problem occurs only after two three songs. So my suggestion to you is to enjoy the music and get drowned in it so much that you yourself don't know when you started singing.
