ok if you want an electric paintball gun i would buy like a piranah that you can just change the batterys in.. you just need a 12 volt battery. but if i where you, you can get away from the batterys which cost a fortune to keep changing and i would not want to change a battery in the middle of a war so i have a tippmann 98 custom and i bought a response trigger that is very simple to install and it it half semi auto half fully auto and you just hold the trigger to get it to go in full auto when i bought my response trigger it was $95 but i think its down to about $60 i mean its a great deal instead of spending a ton of money on the gun, charger, and/or batterys plus with the tippmann custom[not model] you can customise anything to it. i would also suggest an automatic hopper with anyway you go, either its the elec. or non-elec., i also have a 16in. sniper barrel with lots more customs...oh i almost forgot if you are going to go auto i would buy some paintball packs to bring in the war. because i ran out of balls like crazy before i got mine.... I would go with the Tippmann 98 custom w/ response trigger. You can find them real cheap on ebay.com or at your local retailer. This will help you money wise in the future.Tippmanns are the most reliable gun out there and nothing on my gun has ever broken...and that will be the same with yours if you treat it with atleast alittle respect. Hope that answered your question thanks, Coty

Merv gave a pretty good answer. I would add that if you have a tippman with a response trigger and ACT, you can get by with a gravity hopper. You will just have a few dry fires, but then the balls will drop into place. Also, if you were to go with an Ion or similiar gun you can always get rechargable batteries. I'm guessing that at some time you will have access to power for charging. Just keep some regular batteries on hand for emergencies. Also, to save on batteries for hoppers, the Q-loader is an awesome feed system (espcially if you were going to pay for a top dollar electric hopper anyway). Playing for 10 plus years with six different guns of my own.

electric guns u can either charge or just get new batteries. u could probably find some batteries cheap but batteries (depending on which gun) can last a very long time. and if ur battery dies u can not still fire paintballs because all firing modes are run my the electricity power of the battery...hoped this helped u
