  Honestly, for your first longboard. Save another $100 dollars and buy a Loaded Dervish. I personally love the Loaded Vanguard, but the difference in quality between those two, and say, a Sector 9 or Arbor is far bigger than the $100. The Loaded boards have a ton of give and you can carve with them way better than the Arbor and Sec 9 boards. If you are going to go cheap, Never Summer has a couple bargain boards that aren't THAT bad.
