What is more important in airsoft, range or FPS?

What is the range of a 350 fps airsoft sniper with .12 bb's?

I would assume over 100 feet, but you can get a 450-500 fps for around $100 at airsplat.com. A rifle like that can fire a .25 gram pellet around 150 feet accurately. And because its heavier it will fly straighter and be less effected by the wind.

It really depends on many things, like the gun itself, the exact (chrono'd) FPS, barrel length, wind conditions, ect. As for an equation based on bb size (I think you mean weight...) and FPS, I've never heard of one. The only way to be sure is to check reviews or field test the gun yourself. As for an estimate, I'd guess maybe 150 feet max under great conditions, but I'm basing that off only experience.
