What is the salary of electrical engineer fresher in India in private organisations like GE, Siemens, ABB etc, how much can a person earn in this field?
-
I am curious as to how much these companies pay for freshers from various institutes and the maximum salary one can attain before retiring

Answer:
Starting salary if you're from a good college ranges between 3-6 lpa. PSUs on the other hand pay around 8-10 lpa. How much can you earn? Now that's something no one can say. It depends on your skills, college, performance, learning potential, company you're in and the economy as well. You'll see people earning upto 15 lpa in just a few years and there will also be people working for many years still stuck at 4 lpa.
