Answer:
If you want a good gun that is now down to $330 , then , go for the invert mini. When you get it , people say it sucks , just learn how to take care of it , it's super easy to clean. Put it in full auto and shoot 1-3 tanks full of air , that will get the spring it tip top shape. This gun is new and revolutionary in the parts it uses , and , once broken in , it's one kick-*** gun! -Joe

If it's your first marker (even if it isn't), I don't recommend an Ion- they are a headache for newbs to maintain, they tend to break down more than other markers, and they are prone to more problems if you run Co2 with them, which most newbs do. Even with HPA, the Ion is plagued by problems, and it is slowly being phased out with a replacement due sometime in the next year or so. You would be better off with a Kingman/Spyder mechanical or electronic marker as your first one, and once you are comfortable cleaning and maintaining it, you could then move to a better S.P. product, like the Epiphany. If you're sold on buying from S.P. , then ditch the Ion and go straight to the Epiphany, which is a much better product. I'd also look at the Invert Mini or Proto Matrix Rail (PMR) which are much better markers and probably in your price range. The Mini in particualer is excellent. Of course if you're playing woodsball, ingore everything we all said and go buy a Tippmannn- the best woodsball guns out there, period.

NO NO and NO. Ions are a terrible gun to buy. They are such a pain... They will break down a lot, and they arent as durable as people say they are. If ur looking in the $200-$300 range, I would definitely recommend that you stay away from the ion. Just believe me on this. Ive got about 7 years of experience and ive known many people that have owned an ion. Even the dealer in my area wont sell them anymore because they break down too much. Mabye you should look into something else, like a spyder VS2 (not a VS3, the rocking trigger sucks) or even a proto
