How do I know which size skateboard to buy?

  i would suggest a 7.5 inch deck. considering ur foot size and all. good brands: plan b, girl, habitat, mystery, zero, almost. trucks: 5.0 inch, no wider. good brands: venture, thunder, tensor, destructo. wheels: 52mm is about right. not too big, not too small. ricta is a really good brand for beginners. spitfire wears out easily, but lotsa ppl have em. bearings: Bones Reds. dont get anything else. these are cheap and fast. last long too if u dont get em wet a lot. axle is pretty much the trucks, which i've mentioned above. bolts: 7/8 inch or 1 inch would be good. it looks weird with bigger bolts and no shock pads/risers. but ppl dont get risers usually. not even pros. shortys and independent bolts are very popular. FKD bolts dont get loose is what i've heard. independent is heavy. griptape: MOB or black magic. those are the leading brands. i have had a bad experience with jessup, so i dont get those anymore. try em out if u like. those are the top 3 brands. if i didn't mention a size, then the part/component comes in only 1 size.
