Could bringing old lures back actually work better then new lures?

More in pressured places. It DOES help of bass have never seen a lure. Why do wilderness ponds almost always have good fishing? The fish hae never seen a lure, ad therefore are less picky. Hair jigs are gaining in popularity for this reason. This is also why the best trout fly is sometimes a homemade one, even if it doesnt resemble something they feed on most. Think, if a fish was hooked on a woolly bugger twice, it would be more wary of it, even it it looks semi-real. My friend started tying flies before me and he would outflyfish me on homemade flies when i was fishing hares ears and pheasant tails. There is one pond around me where 6 fish an hour is very good and is heavily fished. A 1/2 mile away there is another pond on a golf course that i am the only one whos fished it, and i caught 6 fish an hour in february. The first has more size but fish are wary, so i rarely catch the big ones. On the course, it is average in size, but i caught some big ones in february because they have never seen a lure. Sorry for rambling though

Yep. Old lures worked in the old days and will again when the bass haven't seen them for years.

So does that mean a 1940 Heddon Zara Spook will work better than a 2012 Heddon Zara Spook?
