Where is the best place to float in missouri?

I wanna plan a winter float trip in missouri and do some fishing, where's the best place to go? THanks.?

    I Always liked the Merrimack. Above the caves. Good camp grounds, Not as fast as the Current, Have had luck Finding the deep spots. Casting a rubber worm. & letting it drop over the top off the bigger rocks. But I have never caught a big bass on that river. The Current rises so fast keep a close eye on the weather. More primitive camp grounds as well. Unless you only plan a day float? The black is allso a nice river to float. That would be my top 3 picks. Fishing is poor on all 3 rivers, By my estimation.

I'd start out by contacting these guys. The Missouri Smallmouth Alliance. They are some really dedicated anglers that could put you onto some good fishing spots. Personally it's to cold and wet for me to want to float a river and fish.
