i dont know what your money is but for 90 dollers in the usa you could get a shakespear ugly stick rod and reel it never fails. get something you feel comfortable casting something you can launch out there

the best way is go on a fishing boat trip with tackle and bait provided then you will mpz use a multiplier reel which when you put over boat and let run you've got to keep your thumb/finger on the line so it dont tangle so the best thing is mpz to use a fixed spool reel which is just like a river reel which is easy enough
