What bait should i use to catch catfish?

the smellier the better it tends to be with catfish, get some chicken liver put it in a bag with a bunch of garlic and let it sit in the sun for a little while works great

really animal based soap with weights so it sinks right to the bottom the oiliness of the soap spreads out and stays near the bottom. catfish will eat almost anything that can fit in they're mouth.

I would take a piece of chicken that's been soaked in blood. Put a weight on so it can sink to the bottom. Then toss it out sit back and relax!

Anything imaginable. If fishing during night hours, make a very foul-smelling bait. Grind up some fish guts with some flour and make dough. Put it in an air-tight container for a couple days. You can use this dough with good results.

i have my best luck with gold fish are crawdads and have good luck with worms they make a stink bait called rusty's its made in harper ks and it works good

Well catfish will eat almost anything. You could try hand fishing but the idea trifies me to death. Catfish like anything dead and stinky. Try chicken necks on a BIG hook set it out in the sun for like 6 hours. then let it sit on the bottom. When the line goes tight let it sit for a few seconds than set the hook.
