Has anyone every gone fishing in red lake ontario?

Fly fishing Lake ontario tributaries?!?!?!?

  • Does anyone know any CANADIAN lake ontario tributaries. I heard about the credit river, any good spots there. I'm going for trout, steelhead, and salmon.

  • Answer:

"The Upper Credit truly is one of the last bastians of wilderness in the shadow of urban sprawl, one of the few remaining cold-water streams in southern Ontario that has genuine blue-ribbon trout fishing." (Ontario Out of Doors Magazine) I have yet to make the trip up to the credit, although it's on my list of 'spots I must fish before I die', and yes I really do have a list, and at 42 years old, I consider myself very fortunate to have half of these spots checked off, but not yet the Credit. Here is a good sight that should be able to point you in a good direction, I will refer to it as well when the time comes, as all abstracts are here as well. You've picked the best time of year to make this trip and I am jealous. I hope this site helps you some and good luck on your trip.
