  Well for mahi mahi, or dolphin fish, once you get out, look for debris in the water while you are trolling... Whe we go fishing off the coast of north carolina we look for debris such as a sheet of plywood or a bucket floating on the surface. we caught 60 off of one of them one time. These dolphin fish feed on the small bait fish that seek shelter from the sun under this debris and you can just pull fish after fish up... They are fun fish to catch
