I want to learn how to fish. Anyone know of any good books for beginners.?

go to your local library and get a book about fishing knots i find reading one of those before going out fishing helps me remember the knots but idk about any good books to help you learn to fish ..... if you have an friends that are good fishermen ask them to take you out and watch what they do and how they do it

best way is to go fish. get a pole and get out there. watch the kidds they catch the biggest ones lol. ask people at the bait store what to use and where to go they will set ya right

Vic Dunaway's "Complete Book of Bait's ,Rig's & Tackle". This book gives you an "overview" on all types of fishing, saltwater & freshwater. It does not cover a ton of flyfishing techniques or focus on Alaska/"Great North" fishing. Vic Dunaway was the editor for FLA Sportsman Magazine for many many years. If you catch it in saltwater Vic has bait's, rig's & tackle, in diagrams ready for your pleasure! He cover's the freshwater aspect's well too! Vic's book gives great "basic" info that a "first-time" fisher-person will need. Once you've "narrowed" the type of fishing you want to do ,you can buy/check-out at the library, your genre of fishing!

well nothing is better than experience, if you want the best answers ask someone who knows how.
