Before I was ever on BC, it took us 4 months of unprotected sex to conceive Tyler BUT we weren't actually *trying* for a baby. It was one of those *if it happens it happens & we're fine with that*. With Riley I was on BC for 2 years, stopped, had 1 period (about 2 weeks after stopping) and then got pregnant. Now we'll see what happens this time around after depo...Only 16 more days!!

Being on birth control doesn't really effect your odds of pregnancy once you are ovulating again. And every cycle you are starting fresh. While some women are certainly more fertile, or less fertile than others, on average there is about a 25-30% chance of pregnancy in every cycle of 'actively' trying. So you are rolling a dice. The dice might come up in your favor the first month ... or not until the 10th or 12th. Trying for 3 months is quite normal and average. (About 50% of couples will be pregnant within 3-4 months.) So this time might be the same, or you may get pregnant the first month ... or the 10th.
