What usually happens at soccer tryouts and what do I bring?

    Well, at my high school try-outs it consisted of: -2 mile fitness test -Timed Sprints with and without the ball -1vs1 player possession with the ball -Mini Scrimages -Passing Accuracy The coaches usually look for: -Speed -Good Team Character -How well you control the ball by yourself -How well you work with other team mates -How much you talk on the field Some tips: -Eat healthy! It will help! -Just keep running, don't quit, no matter how much everything hurts -Practice juggling with the ball, it increases foot work control -Get in running shape, that will help you out too. -Get to know the coach by a name to name basis but don't kiss ***, it will piss off everyone else. Bring plenty of water and a sweat towel. You need to wear cleats and shin guards with long soccer socks. Wait to buy new cleats because new cleats will kill your feet in tryouts because they are not broken in yet. And yes you need a physical because its usually required. Good Luck! Just keep your head up, and always keep trying.

if youre trying out for high school yes u need a physical bring shin guards and something to drink and try to score lots of goals even if youre not offense becase thats all coaches notice!!!

you might have to bring shin guards. and usually when i tried out for a team all they did was do like normal drills as if it was a practice and then scrimmage and they watch you play and see how good you are and stuff it really depends like if its a high school team its different or depending which level of soccer your playing?
