Moms, what silly/sweet/ or unique songs do you sing to your baby/children?!?

ATM my daughter only wants to hear Itsy Bitsy Spider.....(I now loath that song lol) Shes 7 months old, its what makes her stop crying. But we mostly sing nursery rhymes in english and danish.

i like to sing "new soul" from the apple song to my baby and "i'm a little teapot, short and stout" oh, and she looooves the wheels on the bus---it makes her laugh hystericlaly!

I don't know how unusual it is but I sing Winken, Blinken and Nod to my son. And the song from Dumbo. Lol. It's such a pretty tune.

The frog song is our calebs absolute favorite, through fits and tantrums itll always calm him down, except our version is a bit different and we added verses like we all know frogs go whir in the blender and we all no frogs go pop in the microwave He also loves complete random made up songs, our whole house is like a musical movie, constantly breaking out in song.

I "sing" to her every time I change her diaper. I sing "It's time to change the diapy, diapy, diapy It's time to change the diapy riiiggghhht now." and "Brianna loves her vitamins, vitamins, vitamins. Brianna loves her her vitamins, just she does!" She smiles when she hears that because she knows what's coming. She also likes when I sing Old McDonald, Elmo's World and "Everybody wants to go to heaven" by Kenny Chesney.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...only I use the Mary Had A Little Lamb beat lol. My son LOVES it :) I also sing the abc's...my version of course! Then whatever music I have playing, I will sing along to him! We are music lovers here :)

It's lame but I used to sing Baby, Baby Noah Baby, Baby Noah Noah is so silly He is so crazy He's my little baby. To the tune of Baby Baluga. He likes it, it made him laugh. Now he likes the Theme Song to Thomas the Train, it's called Roll Call

We recently found this bunny song on Youtube, and it is now a favorite, even though it gets to be really annoying, even if I'm just singing it to him. I totally agree with you about Pete's Dragon, especially "Candle on the Water", and with "In My Life" by the Beatles. We even enjoyed "Operator" by Jim Croche ( ) I also like singing him some Nora Jones songs and Michael Buble songs too.

I don't sing the traditional lullabies either. But mine are far off from being traditional kids songs as well. From birth I started singing Jewel "Angel standing by" and The Bangles "Eternal Flame" or Lauryn Hill "Can't take my eyes off of you". Stuff like that. She is now 8 1/2 months old and loves when Mommy sings to her. We do sing Twinkle Twinkle Little star right before bed each night though.
