Maestro: Do you know the difference between a box-to-box and a defensive mid, if so whats the difference?

Nobody is talking about a defensive midfielder here? But obviously a DM stays back in front of the center backs and also covers for full backs and center backs who have went further forward, simple but also stuff you don't know because you have never looked at basic positioning in your life. BQ: Not many, just the Basque Derbies and I've seen him a lot at youth level and the most recent U21 European Championship. BQ2: Clarified that before on my question. A box to box midfielder typically has a lot of stamina to be able to fulfil attacking and defensive duties and as the title says travel from box to box which Alonso doesn't because he is a deep lying playmaker who dictates the tempo and keeps defensively aware and generally doesn't travel too far up the pitch.
