if your son needs a wheelchair he should be refered to the occupational therapy team for assessment they will probably refer him to the nhs hospital mobility centre. Has he is only 10 i would not actually recommend buying him one due to the fact he still has a long way before he stops growing. my daughter has a wheelchair from the mobility centre, but once she has stopped growing i will be buying her own chair. the only site i know is www.whizzkidz.co.uk.
