What are people in Italy like?

Venice, Italy people. What's it like there?

    Water everywhere...a place may have been dry an hour ago which is wet now...and you have to walk on portable sidewalks...water rises and falls in the square....somewhat smelly...I didn't like all that water all the time..like being in a swamp....DO not get in the water.....I did not care for Venice.

It depends on the time of year you go. It's lovely in early summer, but I have heard that in August the canals get very smelly and it can be quite unpleasant. The buildings are not that tall, and you would have to either walk or take a boat to school, but to be honest, not many people actually live in Venice anymore because it's just too expensive. But it is a wonderful city to visit and whatever you do, don't go without a good camera.

well immagine you look out of the window and instead of a street you'll find a river with gondolas here and there :)) there are tall and average buildings but no short ones :)) tall i dont mean sky scrapers
