How difficult is it to move, get a job in Canada if you are now a USA citizen ?

Have always been a citizen of the USA but, have really been considering moving there lately. YOu know what they say America like it or leave it.

While it is not easy to move to Canada, it can be done. The US and Canada do allow dual citizens---my son is one. In order to get a work visa in Canada you must first be offered employment in Canada. The company must also prove that there is no qualified Canadian immediately available for that job. You do not have to be a citizen of Canada to live and/or work there. I am an American citizen living and working in Canada as a permanent resident. (I am married to a Canadian) Someone already gave you this website but I am listing it again because it is really the one with the answers.

If you're a U.S. citizen, you now have to relinquish your citizenship and apply for Canadian citizenship in order to work and live in Canada. My friend went there to work, and was told this.
