  • Answer:

Unless there is a clause in the contract which says he can send a representative in his place, you may sue and possibly win the case.

If the second guy was not competent as a photographer, you can sue the first guy and likely recover. In most places you have one year and one day from the time you knew or should have known of your injury (i.e. crappy photos) Did you use a credit card? Dispute it with the card issuer and get your money back! Hurry, time is not on your side.

That depends. You need to review the contract very carefully. Lots of photographers have assistants or additional photographers who work for them and take the wedding pictures sometimes. Unless the contract states that a particular photographer from this firm will be taking these wedding pics, I am not sure you have a case on that. Secondly, did you meet with the photographer and actually hand him a list or make a list with him of the specific pictures you wanted? Because if you did, and he did not take those, then you may have a case on that. If you did not ever talk to him about the actual specific shots you wanted taken, and of whom, then some of the blame on that lies with you. You cannot assume that a photog. will automatically know which shots you want. Every wedding is different. If you relied on him to make the decisions as to which shots to take, then that is the chance you took.

It depends on what's in the contract. Typically they will have a coverage statement with info like you are hiring the "company" and anyone from the company can take the pictures. Unless you have it in your contract specifically that the master photographer would be taking the photos you probably don't have much room to argue.

People are always on People's Court over his matter. See you on t.v.

didn't u have a contract signed??? if so.. then i think if u don't like the shots taken u can not pay for them.. and yes.. if he denies this,... then u can sue him...

Next time hire a real photographer, not the cheapest wannabe you can find. You could try to sue, but if they have no money you likely won't be able to collect.

Scrutinize your contract. Does it state that he could have someone else take the pictures or did it state that HE would be taking the pictures?
