    There is no comparison relationship between the size of a private yacht and the owner's income. One typically has nothing to do with the other. In fact, few - very few - owners of yachts make any money at all as a direct result of owning the yacht. For the owner - the yacht is one huge expensive pleasure boat - not a source of income. On smaller "charter boats" which are typically rented as "yachts" (for the sole purpose of income) the Captain is (in most cases) the owner.

I worked on building a yacht for Vic Edelbrock and I have no idea what kind of money he makes from his automotive and marine products but my guess would be that he makes the 20 million that Romney makes per yr look like change. Also worked on a 155ft sail boat that cost around $50 million to build guy was billionaire so I can only dream.
