  A must see is the performance of the Gaddi shepherds who sing in praise of the gods on this occasion. Attended by the gods, Lord Raghunathji’s chariot is then pulled across to another position in the Maidan. The pulling of the ropes is considered a holy act by devotees. Every evening a Ramayan Opera (not a Ramlila) is organized in the Maidan while mornings see the procession of the Gods. The last day of the festival is marked by the grand Rathyatra of Lord Raghunathji to the banks of the river Beas.
